When I attended the Hide Tanning event, I had the chance to speak with multiple amazing people and got various perspectives and information. I also made connections and a few of the conversations were extremely educational.
Not only were there the educational conversations, the content that felt emotional and conversations that were ‘normal’ were just as great because it demonstrates how incorrect the stereotype of Indigenous Peoples never letting anyone else on the reserves.
